In-Person or Online Tutor
About the Role
We are looking for patient, passionate tutors who understand, or are eager to learn, how neurodivergent children think, learn, and thrive. Our students are bright, creative kids who need someone in their corner: someone who meets them where they are, adapts their approach, and makes learning feel safe.
We handle the family matching, the intake process, and the ongoing parent communication so you can focus on what you do best. You set your schedule, your pace, and how you build your practice.
What You Will Do
- Provide one-on-one academic tutoring in reading, writing, math, or executive function skills
- Build rapport with students through consistent, structured, and encouraging sessions
- Adapt your teaching style to meet each student's unique learning profile
- Communicate session progress with parents in a clear, supportive way
- Collaborate with the Parenting the Spectrum team on student goals and strategies
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children or students with autism, ADHD, or learning differences (preferred)
- Background in education, special education, psychology, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Patient, creative, and genuinely excited about working with neurodivergent learners
- Reliable, communicative, and committed to showing up consistently for students
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
- Available for in-person sessions in the Milton/Pace/Pensacola area and/or online sessions
