5–10 business days. Goals checked for measurability. Services checked against the evaluation. Accommodations checked against IDEA and Florida regulations. Language checked against what schools are required to do versus what they often say they'll do.
Delivered to your inbox. Typically 6–10 pages. Every flag named, every vague goal rewritten in measurable language, every missing service identified.
Video call, scheduled at your convenience. Merrie walks you through every red flag. We role-play how to bring each one up at your next meeting. You leave knowing exactly what to ask for, and exactly what to do if the school pushes back.
The booking below is your audit kickoff call. Once that's scheduled, you'll receive the secure upload link. Audit delivery follows in 5–10 business days, then we book your 60-minute review call.
Includes the written audit + 60-minute review call. Calendar invite arrives instantly.
Merrie brought clarity in the meetings by explaining things we didn't understand and ensuring our voices were heard. Because of her guidance, our son received services thoughtfully tailored to his specific needs.
Merrie was so helpful through the whole process. She really took the time to explain the information, answer all of my questions, and advocate for the most successful plan for my boy. She took all of the overwhelming uncertainty out of it.
A written audit document (typically 6–10 pages) that flags every concern in your child's current IEP, plus a 60-minute video review call where Merrie walks you through every flag and the language you can use to address it. The document is yours to keep, share with an attorney, or hand to your IEP team.
From booking to delivered audit: 5–10 business days. The review call is scheduled separately, usually within 7 days of the audit being delivered. So plan for about two to three weeks from booking to having the audit fully reviewed and ready to use.
Email Merrie before booking. We can sometimes do an evaluation review or a "pre-IEP audit" that helps you walk into the eligibility meeting prepared. The price and scope are the same.
Yes. We audit 504 plans on the same terms. The legal framework is different (504 plans live under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, not IDEA), but the underlying review process is the same: measurable, enforceable, comprehensive.
It can inform your case, and many of our families have shared their audits with their attorneys. The audit itself is not legal advice and Merrie is not an attorney. If you're heading into a formal complaint, mediation, or due process, get an attorney, and bring the audit with you.
Private school students typically have a Service Plan rather than a full IEP. We audit those too. The legal protections are weaker than IDEA in private settings, but the document still needs to actually do what it claims to do, and audits regularly find that they don't.
After booking, you'll receive a secure upload link from Merrie's practice management software. Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain them only as long as needed to complete the audit and the review call.
