Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Parenting the Spectrum ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you contact us, book a session, or sign up for our email list, we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, the service you're inquiring about, and any details you choose to share in the message field.
When you book through Acuity Scheduling or sign up via TutorBird, those third-party tools collect their own scheduling and billing information per their own privacy policies. We never see payment card data directly. It's processed by Acuity, Stripe, or Step Up For Students depending on the service.
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors navigate the site. These tools collect aggregate, non-identifying information about page views, time on site, and click behavior.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, deliver the services you've requested (audits, advocacy, tutoring, coaching), and (if you've opted in) to send you occasional emails with new resources or service announcements. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Your child's IEP and related documents
When you upload your child's IEP, evaluation reports, or other educational documents for a Red Flag Audit or advocacy work, those documents are stored encrypted and retained only as long as needed to complete the engagement. You can request deletion at any time by emailing merrieweekley@spectrumparenting.org.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies, primarily for analytics and to remember your form preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function.
Email lists
You can unsubscribe from any email at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us directly. We honor unsubscribes immediately.
Children's privacy
Our services support parents of children with disabilities, but the website itself is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we've collected such information, we'll delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Substantive changes will be communicated via email to anyone on our list at the time.
